Parents of Suicides Together (POST) provides peer grief support to parents who have had a child die by suicide in the Omaha area. Coping with the aftermath of suicide is overwhelming, and the grief from such a loss is more complicated than with other types of death. Seeing how others have dealt with their grief can give survivors new insight and hope. And sharing with those who have had a similar loss is affirming and an important first step in the healing process.
Tuesday Meetings:
POST meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. Meetings are usually held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church at 84th & Pacific in Omaha, Nebraska. Entrance is on the 84th Street side. Mom’s Lunch:
